Shipping policy
Packaging
All our plants are sold rooted in pots. We individually pack each of our plants with the utmost care and love so that they suffer the minimum of stress during shipping. The soil is covered with paper or moss to prevent the plant from uprooting from its pot. The plant is then wrapped in paper. The remaining spaces in the shipping box are filled with paper to hold the plants in place.
Shipping
We offer shipping by Canada Post (Expedited Parcel, Xpresspost and Priority). Plantes Aurea cannot be held responsible for late, lost or stolen packages (see our Refund Policy). It is the customer's responsibility to ensure that they are present to receive the package. Orders made during one week are generally shipped on the Monday of the following week. It is therefore important to inform us as soon as possible of any changes to your order or shipment. Once shipped, orders cannot be modified or refunded.
Weather conditions
It is the customer's responsibility to find out about weather conditions in their area. However, in winter, a 72-hour or 96h heating pack is automatically added to protect your plants from the cold. When temperatures are too extreme, we reserve the right to postpone shipping to an another time.
Local delivery
We offer low-cost local delivery to addresses within a reasonable distance. No request needed. The option is offered automatically when entering shipping information at the time of payment. Contact us to arrange a delivery date and time (usually during the week).
Pick-Up
We offer the option of contactless pickup at our address in the city of Quebec. Contact us to arrange a pickup date and time.
