Anthurium andreanum

Anthurium andreanum is a tropical houseplant much loved for its brilliant, heart-shaped flowers, often red, pink, or white depending on the variety. Its glossy green foliage and long-lasting flowers bring an elegant, colorful, and exotic touch to the home. With good conditions, it can bloom several times a year.

• Light: It likes bright, indirect light. Avoid direct sunlight, which can burn its leaves and flowers. Good soft light helps it produce more flowers.
• Water: Water when the top few centimeters of soil are dry. It likes slightly moist soil, but never waterlogged. Make sure the pot drains well to prevent root rot.
• Humidity: It appreciates good ambient humidity. It will be happier near other plants, in a bright and humid room, or on clay pebbles with a little water.
• Temperature: It likes normal house temperatures and prefers to stay above 18 °C. Avoid cold drafts and sudden temperature changes.
