Origin
Native to Brazil, this plant grows naturally in tropical rainforests where it adopts an epiphytic or semi-epiphytic habit.
Care
- Light : Bright indirect light; the better the light, the more abundant the flowering will be.
- Watering : Keep the substrate slightly moist; water when the top of the soil begins to dry out; avoid waterlogging.
- Humidity : Prefers high ambient humidity, although it tolerates moderately dry air.
- Temperature : between approximately 18 and 27°C; avoid temperatures below 10°C.
- Substrate : light mix, rich in organic matter and well-draining, suitable for epiphytic plants.
Special advice
- Prune lightly after flowering to encourage dense growth and maintain a beautiful shape.
- Fertilize regularly during the growing season with a diluted balanced fertilizer to stimulate flowering and foliage.
- Remove faded flowers to extend the flowering period.
- Non-toxic plant, safe for pets.
