General description

Philodendron × joepii is a rare and sought-after philodendron, known for its distinctive, elongated, arrow-shaped, deeply lobed leaves. Its elegant, sculptural foliage makes it an eye-catching collector's plant for any indoor space.

Origin

Discovered in the forests of French Guiana, near the Maroni River. It is probably a natural hybrid between Philodendron bipennifolium and Philodendron pedatum .

Care

  • Light : Bright indirect light, avoid direct sunlight.
  • Watering : Allow the surface of the substrate to dry slightly between waterings. Avoid overwatering.
  • Humidity : High to medium, likes a slightly humid environment.
  • Temperature : ideal between 18 and 27°C, avoid temperatures below 15°C.
  • Substrate : rich and airy mix, with perlite, coconut fiber and bark for optimal drainage.

  • Fertilize every 4 to 6 weeks during the growing season with a diluted balanced fertilizer.
