Chlorophytum comosum 'Variegatum' is a very accessible houseplant, known for its long green leaves edged in white, growing in a light rosette. It produces trailing runners bearing small decorative seedlings, perfect for hanging baskets or standing pots.

Native to South Africa, grown as a houseplant in many climates, particularly for its aesthetic qualities and ease of cultivation.

Care

• Light : Bright indirect light; tolerates medium brightness but the white variegation will be more noticeable with more light, avoid strong direct sun.
• Watering : Water when the surface of the substrate is dry to the touch; maintain moderate humidity without excess; reduce in winter.
• Humidity : Medium to high; healthy ambient air protects leaf tips from browning.
• Temperature : between approximately 15 and 27°C; avoid prolonged low temperatures.
• Substrate : light, rich, well-draining soil.
