Description
The Alocasia Purple Vein Mauve is an Alocasia with a very graphic look, featuring dark, arrow-shaped leaves and beautiful, contrasting pale veins. Its purplish stems and subtle mauve tones add an elegant and dramatic touch, perfect for a tropical collection.
- Light: Bright, indirect light. Avoid direct sun, which can burn its dark leaves.
- Water: Keep the soil slightly moist, but never waterlogged. Let the surface dry out before watering.
- Humidity: Loves high humidity. Dry air can cause the tips to dry out or slow down new leaf growth.
- Temperature: Keep it warm, above 18°C. It hates the cold and drafts.
- Special note: Like many Alocasias, it may lose a leaf after stress or a change in environment. An airy, well-draining substrate is important.
