Hoya pottsii

This Hoya is distinguished by its impressive and very leathery, almost rigid, foliage. Its oval leaves, medium to deep green, have very pronounced longitudinal veins that give them a sculptural appearance. Depending on the light conditions, some varieties of Hoya pottsii can take on superb bronze or reddish hues ("sunstress"), which are highly sought after.

• Light: Bright and indirect. Strong light is necessary to emphasize the relief of the veins and encourage a fragrant bloom with spicy notes.

• Watering: Low to moderate; allow the substrate to dry almost completely between waterings. Its thick leaves allow it to tolerate forgotten waterings very well.

• Humidity: Tolerates normal ambient humidity, making it a robust climbing plant capable of easily adapting to apartment life.
