Philodendron 'McColley's Finale'
Description
This hybrid Philodendron is distinguished by its changing autumnal foliage colours and its compact (self-supporting) habit. Its young leaves emerge in a vibrant orange-red or cinnamon hue, before transitioning through a coppery bronze stage and finally becoming a deep, glossy forest green at maturity. Unlike other varieties, it often retains a burgundy tint on its stems and the undersides of its leaves.
-
Light: Bright and indirect. Good light is crucial for new growth to display its warm, saturated colours.
-
Watering: Moderate; allow about half of the potting mix to dry out between waterings. It tolerates slight neglect better than overwatering.
-
Humidity: Adapts perfectly to normal ambient humidity, making it a robust and undemanding choice for those who love colourful foliage.
