Pilea Aluminium

This unique plant is distinguished by its vibrant green foliage covered with prominent silvery spots, as if molten aluminum had been deposited on each leaf. Its compact habit and textured leaves make it an essential graphic plant to bring light to shaded corners.

• Light: Medium to bright, always indirect. Avoid direct sunlight which discolors its silver highlights.

• Watering: Regular; allow the soil surface to dry between waterings. It dislikes prolonged drought.

• Humidity: High preferred. Thrives in a terrarium or on a pebble tray.

• Maintenance: Pinch stems occasionally to encourage a bushier habit and prevent it from becoming leggy.
